3.1.a: Ensure Access to Skilled Teachers: Software Evaluation
According to 3.1.a: Ensure Access to Skilled Teachers, it is the responsibility of educational leaders to ensure that teachers are provided with the best tools and resources. This means that a leader needs to evaluate educational apps, websites and online learning platforms before they decide to invest. For my institution, I would recommend the online educational platform Google Classroom.

Report Summary
Through evaluation, Google Classroom proved to be easy to navigate, due to its user-friendly interface, and excellent customer support services. It also provides effective attendance tracking, and seating chart facilities -which can be created in Google Slides- and can adequately monitor student behaviours.
Despite, limited features that promote positive behaviours, the platform offers exceptional communication tools and facilitates integration with other systems (Google Apps). Customization features also give teachers the ability to personalize learning, like establishing unique rules and creating activities that cater to the needs of individual students.
In addition, there are reporting features to monitor student performance -using an applied digital skills account- and student data is securely managed. Furthermore, Google Classroom provides real-time data updates, and collaborative tools to improve student interaction and parental involvement.
As feedback mechanisms are in place, the platform also provides robust support for both students and teachers. Moreover, it incorporates accessibility features for students (compatible with screen readers), which can be used with the special education students at my institution.
Last, but by no means least, the software is free to use, is robust in the face of varying class sizes and has a high level of reliability, making it a viable choice.
A score of 109/110 suggests that Google Classroom is effective and hence educational leaders should highly recommend and encourage its integration by teachers as a digital tool in the classroom.

I agree that Google is a very interactive and user-friendly interface.Google Classroom has an intuitive design that makes it easy for both teachers and students to navigate. It integrates seamlessly with other Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.). What I also like about it is that it is paperless!
